THE INDEPENDENT CLINICAL TRIAL, LED BY LACTATION CONSULTANT PROFESSOR LINDA SWEET RN RM PHD FACM FANZHPE WITH THE WESTERN HEALTH PARTNERSHIP HAS BEEN SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED

The trial will be published in an international breastfeeding journal, and has been nominated for the Mary Patton Award (Australia's most prestigious award for breastfeeding research). The trial was completely independent.

There is a critical need for support and innovation in breastfeeding to address the low rates of breastfeeding. Lactamo is specifically developed and designed for the elasticity of breast tissue, with hollow surface lumps filled with gel that can be heated or cooled, and is heatable, coolable and reusable. Lactamo combines temperature, movement and compression in breast massage which gives it the unique ability to address the most common breastfeeding problems (oversupply, undersupply, pain, blocked milk ducts, engorgement and infection).

Lactamo is so grateful to Professor Linda Sweet and Dr Vidanka Vasilevski with Deakin University and Western Health for the opportunity to research and demonstrate Lactamo's potential.
